Mr. Goodman earned his Juris Doctor degree from Whittier Law School, where he graduated in 2000. During his time at Whittier, he focused on intellectual property law and was actively involved in the Intellectual Property Society and the Entertainment and Sports Law Society, serving as president of both organizations. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at Pepperdine University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He graduated from Pepperdine in 1997.
Mr. Goodman concentrates his practice in the areas of intellectual property, business law, and entertainment law. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, unfair competition, and contract disputes. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding Goodman Mooney LLP, he worked as an associate attorney at a boutique intellectual property firm in Irvine, California, for several years.
Mr. Goodman is an active member of the California State Bar Association and the International Trademark Association. He has served on various committees and has been a speaker at numerous seminars concerning brand protection and related business matters. He is also involved in community activities, including mentoring law students and participating in local charity events. Mr. Goodman is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Southern California effectively.
