After passing the Oklahoma Bar in 1995, Eric began his legal career at a prominent law firm in Oklahoma, before his future endeavors. From 1996 to 2006, Eric developed his litigation skills at a small insurance defense firm. During this time, he represented both individuals and large publicly traded companies, gaining extensive courtroom experience. This role allowed him to develop a understanding of the details of litigation, which he would later apply to his own practice. In 2006, he founded EGL Law, PLLC, with a focus on providing outside general counsel services to business clients and individuals.

Currently, Eric serves as outside General Counsel to the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, where he addresses many legal issues.
