About Eric F.

Eric F. Bergman built his legal foundation at the University of California, Los Angeles. He read history as an undergraduate and earned a B.A. in 2008. He then returned to UCLA for law school and received his J.D. in 2013.

His early career moved quickly into firm practice. Fresh out of law school he joined Hamrick & Evans, LLP as an associate in 2013. The following year he accepted a position at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP. Those early roles exposed him to large-firm procedures and client-facing responsibilities. He handled research, drafted pleadings and briefs, and supported trial teams as cases progressed through litigation stages.

Over time Bergman shifted to Weinstock Manion, where he serves as an associate. At each stop he expanded his courtroom and case-management experience. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing case files and careful in legal writing. He maintains active membership in the State Bar of California and participates in local and national professional groups, including the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

His academic background in history underpins a methodical approach to facts and chronology. That perspective informs how he analyzes pleadings and constructs timelines in civil matters. He combines that analytical habit with day-to-day litigation practice learned at multiple California firms. Those years of practice gave him repeated exposure to discovery disputes, motion practice, and client counseling under court deadlines.

Outside the office Bergman has remained connected to the legal community through bar association activities. He attends programs and contributes to panel discussions when schedules allow. Those activities keep him current on developments in procedural law and local court practice.

He lives and works in California and remains active in the State Bar. His path — from a UCLA history degree to law school and successive associate roles — reflects steady movement through private practice. He currently practices at Weinstock Manion, representing clients in matters arising under California law.
