Eric C. Trosch is a Board-Certified Family Law Specialist and a partner at Conrad Trosch & Kemmy, P.A., located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Since beginning his legal career in 2002, he has concentrated on family law and general civil litigation. Born and raised in Charlotte, Eric has deep roots in the community, which informs his approach to family law. His academic journey began at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and German Literature in 1996. This diverse educational background gave him strong communication skills, essential for his legal practice.

After completing his undergraduate studies, Eric pursued his Juris Doctor at Wake Forest University School of Law, graduating in 2002. Shortly thereafter, he achieved Board Certification as a Family Law Specialist in 2010—a prestigious distinction that fewer than 250 lawyers hold across North Carolina. This certification shows his commitment to excellence in family law, reflecting a significant level of expertise and experience in the field. His dedication to this area of law is recognized; Eric has been recognized as a Super Lawyer for multiple consecutive years, including 2019 and 2020, highlighting his reputation among peers and clients alike. In addition to his practice, Eric has contributed to the legal community through writing and education. In 2017, he co-authored "Divorce in North Carolina – Answers to Your Legal Questions" with his brother, William C.

Trosch. This book addresses over 200 common questions related to the divorce process, providing valuable insights for individuals navigating challenging family situations. This publication further establishes Eric as a knowledgeable resource in family law, reflecting his commitment to helping clients understand their legal rights and options. Eric's involvement in professional organizations has also been significant. He served as a Council Member of the North Carolina Bar Association's Family Law Section from 2012 to 2015, where he contributed to discussions and initiatives aimed at improving family law practices in the state. Additionally, he was Co-Chair of the Mecklenburg Collaborative Law Group from 2012 to 2016, promoting collaborative approaches to family law disputes.

His leadership roles in these organizations demonstrate his dedication to advancing the field of family law and supporting his colleagues. Outside of his professional life, Eric resides in Charlotte with his wife, Elizabeth Trosch, who serves as a Mecklenburg County District Court Judge. Together, they are raising two sons, instilling in them the values of education and community involvement. Eric is also proficient in German, a skill he developed during his studies at the University of Tübingen in Germany. This lets the attorney connect with a broader range of clients and communities.
