About Eric
Eric Bluestein trained as a writer and a business student before he became a lawyer. He earned a B.A. in English and Business Administration from Muhlenberg College in 2005 and a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 2008. Those two disciplines show up in his approach to cases: careful reading of documents and attention to the practical side of running a practice.
He began his legal career as an associate at Freidin Dobrinsky Brown & Rosenblum, P.A. in 2008. That first position introduced him to firm practice and courtroom procedure. In 2014 he opened the Law Offices of Eric Bluestein, P.A., operating as owner and partner. Two years later he took an of-counsel role at Dolan Dobrinsky & Rosenblum, LLP, a position he has held since 2016.
Bluestein holds certification from the Florida State Bar and is admitted to practice in Florida. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Those admissions allow him to handle matters in both state and federal forums.
He has been active in local bar and trial lawyer organizations. He served as President-Elect of the Dade County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section from 2016 to 2017 and then as President of that section from 2017 to 2018. He was Executive Secretary of the Miami Dade Trial Lawyers Association from 2018 to 2019. He is a member of the Florida Justice Association and has maintained professional memberships since 2008.
Over the course of his career Bluestein has moved between running his own office and working within a larger firm structure. That mix of roles means he has experience managing client files and collaborating on larger matters. His academic background in English and business informs how he prepares legal documents and how he handles the administrative demands of a practice.
Colleagues describe him as someone who favors clear written advocacy and steady courtroom preparation. He has taken organizational leadership roles in the bar that required coordinating volunteers, planning events and handling governance matters. Those activities have kept him connected to the local legal community.
He practices at Dolan Dobrinsky Rosenblum, LLP and appears in Florida state and federal courts. He currently handles cases brought in Florida courts and federal district courts in the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
