About Emily Riordan
Emily Riordan Lucibello earned a J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2009 after completing a Bachelor of Arts in political science at the University of Connecticut in 2006. Her academic background provided a grounding in courtroom procedure and public policy at a time when she was preparing to enter Connecticut’s trial bar.
She moved into a leadership role early. In 2009 she served as managing partner and lawyer at Riordan, Cutting & Shore, LLP. That position combined case work and firm management. She handled litigation and oversaw day-to-day operations while building a practice in the local courts.
Two years later she entered private partnership. In 2012 she co-founded Lucibello & Proscino, LLP. The partnership lasted until she launched her own solo practice in 2014, operating as Law Offices of Emily S. Lucibello, LLC. Her office is located downtown in Milford, Connecticut, on the green.
Her career has been marked by steady professional involvement beyond the courtroom. She has been a member of the New Haven County Bar Association since 2009 and joined the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association in 2010. Lucibello has been active in the Milford Bar Association since 2011. Nationally, she took part in committees of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers between 2010 and 2016, including work on death penalty and legislative affairs topics. She was also a member of the American Bar Association from 2006 through 2016 and belonged to the Connecticut Bar Association from 2009 to 2014.
That combination of trial association membership and committee work has shaped the kinds of matters she accepts. Over the years she has tried cases and handled contested hearings in Connecticut courts. Colleagues describe her as experienced in courtroom procedures and trial preparation. Clients encounter a lawyer who has navigated case strategy, witness preparation, and evidentiary disputes in contested matters.
Today she runs a solo practice in Milford, maintaining ties to county and trial lawyer groups while representing clients in state court. Her current practice focuses on criminal defense and trial litigation.
