About Emily J.

Emily J. Haden built a path to law that began in the liberal arts. She earned a B.A. in history from Beloit College in 2003. Six years later she completed her J.D. at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, finishing law school in 2009.

Her education combined close reading and archival work with the practical demands of legal training. At McGeorge she refined research and writing skills that would become central to her practice. The history degree helped her shape narratives, analyze sources, and place facts in context — abilities that translate into case preparation and client counsel.

After law school she moved into practice at the Law Offices of Robert T. Haden. There she took on the everyday responsibilities of an attorney: drafting pleadings, meeting with clients, and preparing matters for negotiation or trial. Colleagues and clients have found her work steady and meticulous. She has been involved in case development and courtroom preparation, tasks that require both organization and attention to detail.

Her professional style is rooted in careful preparation. She spends time assembling the factual record, checking sources, and testing legal theories. That methodical approach shows up in written work and in oral presentations. She balances the technical side of law with direct client communication, explaining options and pacing case strategy according to practical realities.

Over time she has handled a range of matters that call for both litigation readiness and transactional clarity. She often serves as the point person on files that require long-term management as well as discrete court appearances. That mix has given her steady experience in case management and client relations.

Outside of casework, she has maintained ties to the local legal community through routine professional activity. She keeps current on changes in statutes and court rules, and she applies that knowledge in daily practice. The combination of a liberal arts background and law school training informs how she frames problems and pursues solutions.

Today she practices at the Law Offices of Robert T. Haden and concentrates on serving clients through the firm’s established practice areas. Her current work focuses on providing direct client representation and managing cases from intake through resolution.
