About Emily
Emily Daniell built a pathway to law that began in classrooms and led to a courtroom role as a firm leader. She graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 2003 with a B.A. in history and earned her J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2008. Those years set a steady course from education into legal practice.
Before law school she taught middle school English and reading. From 2004 to 2007 she was a classroom teacher in Terrell ISD, Mesquite ISD and Arlington ISD. The early work in schools gave her experience in communicating complex ideas to different audiences. It also bought practical patience that later proved useful in client work and negotiations.
While in law school and immediately after, Daniell took on several legal internships. In 2008 she worked at Yoss Law Office and in 2009 at The Alband Law Office, PLLC. That same year she joined Charles W. Spencer & Associated, PLLC, moving from internships into a lawyer role. Those early positions provided hands-on exposure to case preparation and courtroom procedure.
In 2014 she opened The Law Office of Emily Daniell, PLLC and began managing her own caseload. Four years later she worked as a family law attorney at Powell Law Offices, P.C., where she handled matters arising under Texas family law statutes. The period in solo practice and then at a specialized firm broadened her perspective on client needs and case management.
Daniell took on a leadership role in 2022 when she became managing partner at Christman Lawyers, PLLC. She maintains professional ties across the region and is a member of the Tarrant County, Denton County and Dallas County bar associations. Her memberships keep her connected to local court practices and bar resources.
She is licensed to practice in Texas and has built a career around family law and related matters in state courts. She currently practices family law as managing partner of Christman Lawyers, PLLC.
