About Emily Breaux

Emily Breaux Wright built the groundwork for her legal career close to home. She earned a Bachelor of General Studies in Communications and Public Relations from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2010. Six years later she graduated from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law with a J.D., entering a New Orleans legal community that prizes both litigation skill and practical problem solving.

After law school, Wright moved into private practice where she has worked as an associate at Kean Miller LLP. Her practice has included work in matters that bring together transactional detail and regulatory compliance. She holds licensure from the Louisiana Department of Insurance as a title insurance agent, a credential that speaks to the technical and procedural aspects of real estate transactions.

Wright is admitted to practice in Louisiana and before the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana. Those admissions allow her to handle matters that span state and federal procedure. She maintains memberships in the Lafayette Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association, and she is active in the REALTOR Association of Acadiana, an affiliation that connects her practice to the local real estate market.

Colleagues describe Wright as methodical in paperwork and precise when reviewing title issues. Her certification as a title insurance agent requires familiarity with policy language, endorsements and insurer requirements. That background often places her on files that require careful coordination among lenders, real estate brokers and closing agents.

At Kean Miller, Wright has contributed to transactional teams and supported litigation matters where title, property rights and closing mechanics intersect. The firm’s platform has given her exposure to a range of clients, from individual buyers and sellers to commercial interests. In those matters she handles drafting, due diligence, and the administrative steps that lead to a closing.

Outside the office she engages with groups tied to property and community development. Her membership in the REALTOR Association of Acadiana reflects an interest in the local housing market and in the practical work that gets transactions across the finish line.

She currently practices at Kean Miller LLP, handling real estate transactions, title insurance matters and related transactional issues.
