About Elysa
Elysa Greenblatt built a legal foundation across two New England schools before setting down roots in New York. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Government from Smith College in 1997, then went on to Boston College Law School and received her J.D. in 2000. Those years shaped her approach to law: methodical, attentive to detail, and attentive to how rules affect people.
After law school she moved into the practice of law in New York. Admitted to practice in the state, she has spent her career working for clients in a variety of matters. Her early years included courtroom appearances and negotiations, where she learned how to translate complex legal questions into practical next steps for clients. She has also handled transactional work and client counseling, balancing litigation skills with careful drafting and problem solving.
Greenblatt’s academic background in government informs how she frames legal issues. She reads statutes and regulations closely. She watches how public policies shape outcomes in individual cases. That perspective guides her when she evaluates risk, advises on compliance, or prepares a case for trial.
Colleagues describe her approach as steady and pragmatic. She maintains current memberships in professional associations and participates in continuing legal education to keep pace with developments in New York law. She is comfortable in courtrooms and conference rooms alike. Her work requires both advocacy and attention to detail, and she moves between those tasks regularly.
At Greenblatt Law LLC she represents a diverse group of clients. The firm handles matters that require a combination of legal analysis, negotiation, and advocacy. Cases vary in size and complexity. She adapts her strategy to the circumstances of each matter and to the goals of each client.
Outside the office she has stayed connected to the legal community through professional involvement and ongoing education. She keeps an eye on changes in law and procedure that affect her practice. That practice is firmly based in New York, where she maintains an active presence.
She currently practices at Greenblatt Law LLC and concentrates on providing legal representation and counsel to clients in New York.
