Elliot R. Schiff is the founding partner of Schiff Gorman LLC, a law firm based in Chicago, Illinois. He has been practicing law since 1973, focusing on legal malpractice and personal injury cases. His firm is located at One East Wacker Drive, Suite 1100, Chicago, IL 60601. Mr.
Schiff earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 1973. Prior to entering private practice, he completed a judicial clerkship with Justice Francis Lorenz of the Illinois Appellate Court. Throughout his career, Mr. Schiff has concentrated on representing clients affected by legal malpractice, particularly those whose attorneys have breached fiduciary duties or acted negligently. He authored "Legal Malpractice," published by the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education, and contributed to its supplements through 2012.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Schiff has been recognized for his contributions to the field. He has maintained an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell since 1980, reflecting the highest standards of professional excellence. He is a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
