About Elizabeth Liz

Elizabeth Liz Dudley began her professional life in healthcare. She trained and worked as a registered nurse through a program tied to Wesley Medical Center and Wichita State University. That early clinical experience later shaped a very different career path — law.

She returned to the classroom for legal training and earned a J.D. from Washburn University School of Law in 2001. Her studies emphasized healthcare law and personal injury. Before law school she completed undergraduate work that included a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Friends University and related studies at Wichita State.

Dudley’s nursing background informs how she approaches cases that involve medical facts, charts and standards of care. She is comfortable reading medical records and asking precise clinical questions. That practical knowledge often helps bridge the gap between medical issues and legal strategy.

Her license reaches across state lines. Dudley practices in Colorado, Illinois, Georgia, West Virginia, California, Pennsylvania, Missouri, New York, Kansas and New Jersey. That multi-jurisdictional reach allows her to take on matters that cross state boundaries and to coordinate filings and strategy in several courts.

She remains active in professional organizations. Dudley is a member of the American Association for Justice and belongs to the Kansas Bar Association and Wichita Bar Association. She serves on the executive board of the Kansas Association for Justice and participates in Women in Mass Torts, a group of attorneys who focus on complex litigation involving consumer products and pharmaceuticals.

Dudley founded The Dudley Law Office LLC to handle civil litigation that intersects with healthcare. Her matters include medical negligence claims and mass tort litigation. She manages client intake, develops claim narratives that connect medical evidence to legal theories, and coordinates expert review where needed.

Colleagues describe her as someone who brings a clinician’s attention to procedural detail. Clients who have complex medical injury claims find that her combined health care and legal background shortens the learning curve. She often works with clinicians and experts to clarify causation and damages.

Outside the courtroom she remains engaged in local bar activities and statewide professional groups. Her approach is practical. She focuses on cases where medical facts are central to the legal issues.

As of 2026 she continues to practice through The Dudley Law Office LLC and concentrates on healthcare-related civil litigation, personal injury, and mass tort matters.
