About Elise A.

Elise A. Waisbren studied political science and graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2008. She earned her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2011. Those academic years set the stage for a practice that has combined litigation and client advocacy. She moved from law school into private practice and has since built a career centered on civil injury matters.

She is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. She also holds membership in the Northern District of Illinois Trial Bar, a sign that part of her work has involved federal courtroom procedure and filings. Those admissions expand the venues in which she can represent clients and take cases beyond state court.

Waisbren’s professional path includes a leadership role at Womens Injury Law Group, where she became Principal Lawyer in 2022. In that capacity she oversaw case strategy, client intake, and litigation planning for injury claims. She later took on an of-counsel position at the Law Offices of Goldberg & Goldberg. In that role she provides legal counsel and contributes to ongoing personal injury matters handled by the firm.

Her memberships reflect the trial-side associations that many plaintiff lawyers choose. She is a current member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. Those organizations provide continuing education, courtroom resources, and networking opportunities relevant to litigators. Waisbren’s involvement in these groups has kept her connected to developments in trial practice and civil procedure.

Colleagues describe her as practical in approach. Her work emphasizes case preparation and client communication. She has managed cases through investigation, negotiation, and where necessary, litigation. That work spans pre-litigation settlement efforts and courtroom filings under the rules that govern civil injury actions.

She maintains an office affiliation with the Law Offices of Goldberg & Goldberg while continuing leadership responsibilities at Womens Injury Law Group. She currently concentrates her practice on injury matters and litigation for clients pursuing civil claims.
