About Eliot
Eliot Rushovich trained at Harvard. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies from Harvard University in 2003 and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 2007. Those credentials anchored an early career that moved quickly from classroom to courtroom.
After law school he joined O'Melveny & Myers LLP as an associate in 2007. His time there was the first stop on a path that led him out of large firm practice and into private firm leadership. In 2012 he helped found Rushovich Mehtani LLP, where he took on partnership responsibilities and helped build a boutique practice. Five years later he assumed the role of managing partner at Rise Law Office, PC, a position he has held since 2017.
Rushovich is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. His bar admissions enable him to handle matters at trial and on appeal. Over the years his casework has aligned with the memberships he maintains in professional associations that concentrate on consumer and employment matters.
He is a current member of the California Employment Lawyers Association and of the Consumer Lawyers Association of Los Angeles (listed as CAALA). Those affiliations point to a practice engaged in employment and consumer litigation. Colleagues describe him as someone who moves between case development, courtroom preparation, and appellate briefing depending on what a matter requires.
His career path — from a large national firm to founding a midsize boutique and then to leading a practice as managing partner — reflects a shift toward handling plaintiff-side disputes and overseeing firm operations. At Rise Law Office he has been responsible not only for client work but also for managing teams, developing case strategy, and directing litigation efforts.
Outside of court filings and firm duties there are no public listings here of academic posts or published treatises. He remains active in statewide and local legal groups that focus on litigation practice, and he appears on filings in both trial courts and the Ninth Circuit.
As of 2026 he continues to practice in California and before the Ninth Circuit, concentrating his work on employment and consumer litigation and managing the matters handled by Rise Law Office, PC.
