About Eirene N.
Eirene N. Salvi built a straightforward path from history major to trial lawyer. She studied European history at Pacific Union College and went on to earn her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2015. The trajectory combines an interest in context and narrative with formal legal training.
After law school, Salvi began her legal career in Illinois. In 2016 she joined Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard as an associate. Her work there has centered on litigation tasks common to trial practice: developing case theory, conducting discovery, preparing motions, and handling courtroom procedures. Colleagues describe her as methodical in case preparation and attentive to the practical needs of clients.
Salvi balances firm duties with active involvement in legal organizations. She serves as president of Lawyers Lend-A-Hand to Youth. She sits on the Managers for the Chicago Bar Association and is a board participant in the Diversity & Inclusion Committee of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. She holds memberships in the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Chinese American Bar Association, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association.
Her civic and professional commitments extend to appointed roles. In 2022 she joined the Young Professionals Board of the Chicago Bar Foundation. In 2024 she received an appointment to the Illinois Supreme Court’s Commission on Professionalism for a term that runs through 2026. These positions place her in settings where governance, access to justice, and professional standards are discussed and advanced.
Peers note that Salvi’s interests include mentoring younger lawyers and improving diversity within bar organizations. She combines regular courtroom responsibilities with service on committees and boards. That combination gives her both day-to-day litigation experience and a broader view of the legal community’s institutional needs.
Today she continues to practice at Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard in Illinois. Her current practice focuses on civil litigation matters in state courts and on related professional activities within the Chicago legal community.
