About Edward William Younger
Edward William Younger IV trained for the law after first studying music. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Recording Arts) from California State University, Chico in 1993 and completed his J.D. at Concord Law School in 2005. Those two paths — technical studio work and legal study — inform a methodical approach to practice.
He began practicing in the Bay Area legal community and joined the Contra Costa County Bar Association in 2011. In 2012 he worked as an associate at Alvis Quashnock and Associates, where he handled matters typical for a small firm associate and gained courtroom and client-facing experience. A few years later he shifted to solo practice and opened the Law Office of Edward Younger in 2016.
Younger’s civic activity runs alongside his legal work. He has been active in local business networks since 2012, holding membership in the Delta chapter of BNI and serving as an ambassador for the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce. He also served as treasurer for Cub Scouts Brentwood Pack 90 from 2011 to 2013. Those roles have kept him connected to small-business owners and community organizations in Contra Costa County.
Colleagues describe Younger as pragmatic in his approach. He focuses on clear, practical advice rather than broad theory. He maintains professional ties through the county bar association and through local business groups. His experience at a small firm followed by years as a sole practitioner has given him familiarity with routine litigation, client counseling, and the administrative side of running a law office.
His office is listed at 420 Beatrice Court, Suite G1. Public records indicate he practices in California and operates under the name Law Office of Edward Younger. He continues to accept local clients and handles matters that arise out of small-business operation, contract disputes and general civil issues. His current practice centers on civil matters and business law.
