About Edward Thomas Mazzu

Edward Thomas Mazzu JR. earned his law degree from SUNY Buffalo Law School, receiving his J.D. in 2015. He entered the legal profession after completing his studies and has built his practice in New York. His academic background provided the foundation for courtroom work and civil litigation practice.

Mazzu began his legal career working in environments that exposed him to trial preparation, client counseling, and the demands of contested cases. Over time he moved into private practice and established MAZZU LAW PLLC. As owner of the firm, he manages both the day-to-day operations and the legal work the office handles. Colleagues describe him as methodical in case preparation and persistent in pursuing matters to resolution.

He is admitted to practice in New York and is active in professional groups that center on trial work. Mazzu holds memberships in the American Association for Justice and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. Those affiliations indicate a professional interest in litigation and trial advocacy, and they provide him ongoing opportunities for professional development and networking.

Mazzu’s courtroom experience is reflected in the structure of his practice. He has overseen cases from initial intake through discovery, motion practice, and trial. His approach tends to emphasize thorough factual development and careful legal analysis. He prepares witnesses, addresses expert issues, and handles evidentiary matters in contested settings.

Clients encounter him as both an advocate and a manager of legal strategy. He balances case assessment against realistic outcomes. That practical perspective guides decision-making about settlement versus trial. His work requires coordinating with other professionals, including investigators and expert witnesses, and he has built a practice that accommodates those needs.

Outside the courtroom he participates in association activities and professional events. Those involvements keep him connected to developments in trial procedure and advocacy techniques. They also serve as a forum for exchanging ideas with other trial lawyers in the state.

Today Mazzu continues to run MAZZU LAW PLLC and practices in New York state courts. He represents clients in litigation matters and oversees the firm’s trial preparations and case management. He currently focuses his practice on litigation and trial work in New York.
