About Edward K Fehlig

Edward K Fehlig Jr. built a legal path that crosses continents and courtrooms. He earned a B.A. from the American University of Paris in 1998, studying European cultural studies and philosophy. He later returned to the United States and received his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2001.

After law school he entered private practice and spent several years gaining courtroom and client-side experience. In 2006 he became owner of Fehlig Law Firm, LLC. Over time his practice settled into the office listed as Fehlig Law Office, LLC, where he maintains his practice today.

Fehlig is licensed to practice in both Texas and Missouri. That dual admission allows him to handle matters that touch both jurisdictions. He represents individual and business clients, advises on transactional questions and addresses disputes when they arise. He approaches every file as a practical problem to be solved rather than as a rhetorical exercise.

Outside the office he has an ongoing role with the Jaycees, serving as legal counsel. That position places him in the center of a civic network and keeps him involved in community projects and organizational governance. The work with the Jaycees has also kept him connected to local nonprofit concerns and municipal issues.

His work life reflects a mix of courtroom practice and client counseling. He manages a small practice structure and handles intake, case strategy and courtroom appearances. Colleagues and clients have found that running his own office requires attention to administrative detail as much as to legal substance. He has adapted to those demands while keeping casework at the forefront.

He remains based at the Fehlig Law Office, LLC and continues to accept matters in jurisdictions where he is admitted. His practice covers legal representation and counsel across Texas and Missouri, and he maintains involvement in civic and organizational legal matters through the Jaycees.
