About Edward G
Edward G Lindsey has led The Lindsey Law Office PC since he founded the firm in 1992. He runs the practice as its managing lawyer, balancing courtroom work and mediation. Colleagues and clients see a long-running local presence rather than a headline-grabbing biography.
He built his legal foundation at the University of Tulsa, earning a B.A. in history in 1985 and a J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1989. Early in his legal education he sought comparative perspectives. He attended a summer program in comparative law at Aberdeen University in Scotland in 1990 and studied European Community law at the Universidad de Madrid’s Colegio de San Pablo in 1991.
Soon after completing his degree he set up his own practice. The Lindsey Law Office PC began in 1992 and has operated under his direction since then. Over the years Lindsey has maintained memberships in professional groups that reflect a mix of trial practice and victim advocacy. He joined the American Bar Association and the Tulsa County Bar Association in 1992, became part of Oklahoma Trial Lawyers in 1993, and holds membership in the National Crime Victims Bar Association since 2002. He also lists membership in the Better Business Bureau beginning in 2008.
His federal court admissions span multiple districts and the regional appeals court. He has been licensed to appear before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma since 1992, the Western District of Oklahoma since 1994, and the Eastern District of Oklahoma since 2006. He is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit as of 2006.
Lindsey has added mediation training to his practice toolbox. He holds certification in family and divorce mediation from the Oklahoma Mediation Institute. That credential complements courtroom work and provides an alternative path for resolving family disputes.
Clients who come to his office encounter a lawyer who combines courtroom admission across federal and state venues with mediation training and a steady private-practice presence. He continues to manage The Lindsey Law Office PC and to represent clients in both litigation and mediated settings. His current practice focuses on litigation, mediation and courtroom representation in state and federal courts.
