About E. Lawrence
E. Lawrence Brock studied history and English before turning to the law. He earned a B.A. from California State University, Los Angeles and completed his Juris Doctor at Southwestern University School of Law in 1979. Those early academic interests in narrative and context shaped the way he approaches legal problems in later years.
After graduating in 1979, Brock moved into private practice. Over the course of a long career he has held licenses in both California and Utah. He has worked in environments ranging from small local offices to multidisciplinary practices. That variety helped him build practical skills in client counseling, document drafting and courtroom procedure.
Brock’s practice has centered on estate planning. He drafts wills and trusts, prepares powers of attorney and assists clients through probate processes. He also handles related matters that frequently touch on estate work, such as guardianship petitions and conservatorships. He is known among colleagues for a methodical approach to estate documents and for preparing plans that anticipate common family and tax questions.
Community involvement has been part of Brock’s life outside the office. He has been a member of the Rancho del Chino Rotary since 1996. That long-running membership reflects a steady presence in community organizations and an interest in local civic life.
Clients and peers describe Brock as practical and deliberate. He prefers clear explanations over legalese. In meetings he concentrates on what clients need to decide and why those choices matter. He balances document preparation with discussions about family dynamics and the long-term implications of different estate plans.
In recent years he has practiced from an office that identifies as St George Estate Planning. The office handles typical estate planning matters for individuals and families in the region. Brock continues to split professional work across the two jurisdictions where he is licensed when matters require it.
Now in the later decades of a legal career that began after law school, Brock remains active in preparing estate plans and guiding families through probate and related proceedings. He currently practices estate planning at St George Estate Planning.
