Dudley C. Goar built a career that begins in the archives and ends in a courtroom. He studied history at Davidson College, earning a B.A. in 1991, and continued in the field at the University of Virginia, where he completed an M.A. in 1993. Four years later he graduated from Northeastern University School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 1997.
Soon after law school, Goar took the step every new lawyer must: admission to the bar. He became a member of the Massachusetts Bar in 1997 and that membership remains current. He also gained admission to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Those credentials have framed a steady legal career based in the state.
