About Douglas Stuart
Douglas Stuart Hunter built his path to the law across two Ohio campuses. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Toledo in 1997 after beginning his undergraduate studies in 1993. He then continued his legal education at Ohio Northern University, receiving his Juris Doctor in 2000. Those years provided classroom training in substantive law and practical skills that prepared him for practice in Ohio.
After law school, Hunter entered the Ohio legal community. He is admitted to practice in Ohio and has maintained active professional standing in the state. Over the course of his career he has worked on matters arising under state law and has developed familiarity with courtroom procedure and the procedural rules that govern litigation in Ohio courts.
Hunter is a member of the Ohio State Bar and holds membership in the Ohio Association for Justice. He participates in the professional networks that those organizations provide and engages in continuing education through the bar and allied groups. That involvement keeps him connected to developments in state law and to the wider community of trial lawyers and advocates in Ohio.
He is currently of counsel at Hoffman Legal Group, LLC, where he handles cases on behalf of clients in Ohio. At the firm he applies his legal training and courtroom experience to representing clients before Ohio tribunals and administrative bodies. His current practice focuses on representing clients in matters brought in Ohio courts.
