Douglas B. Wroan is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1995 and holds bar number 182274. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Wroan is the president of The Wroan Law Firm, Inc., a law firm located in Hawthorne, California. He has been practicing law for over 30 years, serving clients throughout Southern California.
Mr. Wroan earned his Juris Doctor degree from Western State University College of Law, where he graduated in 1995. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at California State University, Long Beach, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree. During his time at Western State University, he was involved in various legal clinics and internships, gaining practical experience in his field.
Mr. Wroan concentrates his practice in the areas of sports and entertainment law, technology and new media, business, real estate, and related litigation. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving production financing, sponsorship, licensing, talent, endorsement, and related agreements. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Wroan has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Century City for five years.
Mr. Wroan is an active member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He holds membership in the Los Angeles Venture Association (LAVA). He is also a certified mediator through the Los Angeles County Superior Court mediation program. Mr. Wroan is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Los Angeles County effectively.
