About Dominic Matthew
Dominic Matthew Carucci studied law at Georgetown University Law Center, where he earned his J.D. The curriculum there sharpened an interest in commercial practice and courtroom procedure, and it set the stage for a career that has moved between large firm litigation and small firm client work.
He began his post-law school work in 2013 at Perkins Coie LLP as a discovery lawyer. At the firm he handled the practical demands of pretrial fact development and the procedural side of complex cases. Those early years gave him experience in the rhythms of big-firm litigation and introduced him to the variety of discovery tools and processes that lawyers deploy before trial.
In 2015 he joined Kushner Carlson, PC as an associate. The firm later reorganized and became LS Carlson Law, PC, and he was elevated to partner in 2018. During that period he took on a mix of litigation and transactional assignments for business clients and property owners. He worked on contract disputes, regulatory issues affecting commercial operations, and matters touching on property rights, often moving between negotiation and courtroom advocacy.
In 2021 he launched Carucci Legal. Founding his own practice gave him a chance to shape a smaller, more flexible firm model. At Carucci Legal he provides counsel that reflects his range of experience—both the procedural discipline learned at a national firm and the hands-on client work that comes from practice in smaller settings.
Carucci is licensed in California and Washington. Practicing in two jurisdictions influences how he approaches matters that cross state lines, whether a client is forming an entity, negotiating leases, or facing a contested dispute. That dual-state practice requires attention to differences in procedure and local rules, and it informs the practical advice he gives clients.
Today he focuses on business and real estate law. He advises owners and operators on transactions, helps resolve commercial disputes, and manages the legal steps that arise when property and commerce intersect. His current practice centers on providing legal services to businesses and property owners in California and Washington.
