About Diana Dawn

Diana Dawn Maselli earned a Bachelor of Science from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2009 and a law degree from Ave Maria School of Law in 2012. Her academic path kept her close to Southwest Florida, where she later built a practice that is both local and connected to statewide bar activity. The early choice of schools shaped a professional trajectory tied to the courts and legal community of the region.

After law school, Maselli joined the firm of Bruce L. Scheiner as a lawyer. At that firm she has worked on matters that take her into courtrooms and involve courtroom preparation, legal research, pleadings and client counseling. Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparing cases and practical in managing day-to-day tasks that keep files moving toward resolution.

Maselli’s affiliations chart the outline of her professional interests. She is a member of the Lee County Association for Women Lawyers and the Lee County Bar Association. She belongs to the Florida State Bar and the Florida Justice Association. She is listed as a member of the Calusa Inn of Court, an organization that brings judges and lawyers together to discuss ethics and trial practice.

Her work in professional leadership extends beyond membership. Maselli serves on the boards of the Southwest Florida Federal Court Bar Association and the Southwest Florida Trial Lawyers Association. She is also a graduate of the Florida Bar Leadership Academy, a program aimed at cultivating leadership in the state’s legal profession. Those roles put her in regular contact with federal and state judges, trial lawyers, and other lawyers who handle litigation in the region.

Public safety and prevention are part of Maselli’s community footprint. She is a member of the Lee County Injury Prevention Coalition, a group that gathers public health, legal and community stakeholders to reduce injury risk across the county. That membership complements her bar and court-related activities and provides a civic dimension to her professional life.

On the local scene she participates in events and panels through the Lee County organizations and through statewide bar gatherings. Her board work with trial and federal court bar groups also requires regular attendance at educational programs and meetings focused on evolving practice rules and courtroom procedure.

Maselli practices law in Florida at Bruce L. Scheiner. She handles litigation work and participates in bar and court bar organizations that support trial practice in the region.
