About Casey

Casey Gartland built a legal foundation that blends courtroom training and forensic study. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Forensic Studies and Criminal Justice from Florida Gulf Coast University, followed by a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati. She completed her legal education at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she received her J.D.

After law school, Gartland entered practice in Florida and secured admission to the state bar in 2018. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Those admissions have allowed her to handle matters in both state and federal forums.

Her early bar and association work included membership in the Hillsborough County Bar Association from 2018 to 2019. She later joined the Lee County Bar Association and the National Trial Lawyers Association in 2021, and she remains an active member of The Florida Bar. Her association memberships reflect a mix of local and national professional ties.

Gartland’s background combines forensic and criminal justice training with courtroom practice. That mix informs how she assesses evidence, interviews witnesses and prepares cases for trial. Peers and colleagues note that her academic path — from forensic studies through an advanced criminal justice degree to a J.D. — gives her a practical perspective on case investigation and litigation strategy.

She is currently on the roster at Garvin Injury Law. At that firm she has participated in civil litigation and has represented clients in matters that proceed through state and federal courts. Her work there has involved case preparation, discovery and courtroom advocacy when cases move toward trial.

Outside the office, Gartland’s professional memberships keep her connected to trial-focused colleagues and local bar activities. She has balanced membership in broader trial organizations with involvement in county-level bar groups. That engagement has provided access to continuing legal education and peer networks that support courtroom practice.

Gartland practices at Garvin Injury Law, handling injury-related matters and litigation in state and federal courts.
