About Devin
Devin McBride built his legal foundation at Providence College and the University of Massachusetts School of Law. He graduated from Providence College with a B.A. in 2008 and earned his J.D. from UMass School of Law in 2011. Those years shaped his approach to legal research and courtroom preparation.
Early in his career he moved into private practice in Massachusetts. Over time he developed familiarity with the practical demands of litigation and client counseling. He joined Foti Law in a senior advisory role and now serves as Of Counsel to the firm.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing cases and attentive when meeting clients. He spends time reviewing evidence, drafting pleadings and coordinating with trial teams. His work often involves helping newer attorneys manage casework and ensuring that filings meet procedural requirements.
McBride has handled matters that required close attention to deadlines and procedural nuance. He approaches each matter by mapping out the steps needed to reach resolution. He also draws on classroom training from law school for legal writing and appellate reasoning when those skills are needed.
Outside the courtroom he has been involved in the administrative side of case preparation. He manages discovery tasks and organizes document production in complex matters. Those responsibilities keep him in frequent contact with clients, experts and opposing counsel.
As Of Counsel at Foti Law he offers experienced support to the firm’s litigation practice. He provides strategic perspective during case planning and assists with trial preparation when cases move toward trial. His role is a mix of hands-on legal work and mentorship to associates who are newer to civil procedure and courtroom practice.
McBride practices in Massachusetts and maintains a steady caseload through the firm. He has stayed active in local legal circles and prefers a practical, step-by-step approach to resolving disputes. He is of counsel at Foti Law, where he handles the firm’s matters in Massachusetts.
