About Niamh (Neeve)

Niamh (Neeve) Gibbons earned a Bachelor of Arts from University College Dublin, completing her degree in 2002 after beginning undergraduate study in 1998. She returned to school two decades later and received her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 2022. The two degrees bookend an unconventional path to the law, one that mixes international education with a recent immersion in American legal training.

After law school, Gibbons pursued admission to practice in Massachusetts. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and maintains professional ties within the state. That membership places her in regular contact with colleagues across a range of practice areas and offers access to continuing legal education and bar activities.

Gibbons serves as an associate at Zalkind Duncan & Bernstein LLP. In that role she contributes to the firm’s work through legal research, drafting, and case preparation. Associates at the firm typically support clients on litigation and transactional matters, and Gibbons’s responsibilities reflect that hands-on practice environment. She works alongside experienced attorneys on pleadings, discovery, and client advisories, gaining practical courtroom and office experience.

Her academic background includes international study and a later, concentrated legal education in Boston. The combination gives her familiarity with comparative perspectives and a recent, formal grounding in U.S. law. At Suffolk she completed the curriculum required for the J.D., studied core subjects and practical skills, and prepared for bar qualification in Massachusetts.

Colleagues describe Gibbons as steady and methodical in her work. She maintains professional memberships and engages with local legal programming through the Massachusetts Bar Association. That involvement keeps her connected to developments in state law and to peers who practice across a variety of specialties.

Outside of specific casework, Gibbons has focused on building practical skills since joining the firm. She applies classroom training to client matters, and she is part of the team-based approach the firm uses to manage its caseload. Her trajectory shows a transition from international undergraduate study to a focused legal career in Massachusetts.

She currently practices as an associate at Zalkind Duncan & Bernstein LLP, handling matters in Massachusetts.
