About Deborah
Deborah Perdue combines a Midwest upbringing in the classroom with steady courtroom experience. She earned her J.D. from the University of Tulsa in 2013 after completing undergraduate studies at Oklahoma State University–Tulsa, where she received a B.S. in International Business in 2009. Those years provided a broad foundation in law and commerce that informs how she approaches client matters today.
Early in her career she put time into community service. In 2015 she served as a volunteer lawyer for Tulsa Lawyers for Children, taking on cases that required attention to detail and an ability to explain legal options to nonlawyers. That project left a mark on her practice style. She aims for clarity in legal documents and plainspoken counsel when clients face difficult decisions.
She is admitted to practice in Oklahoma and is authorized to appear before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Oklahoma. She holds memberships in the American Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Tulsa County Bar Association, each since 2014. Those affiliations keep her connected to changes in procedure and case law that affect litigants and small firms across the state.
Perdue’s work has been largely focused on representing clients in matters brought in state and federal trial courts. She handles court filings, discovery, motion practice and oral advocacy, and she often manages matters from initial pleadings through trial preparation. Her practice places a premium on managing deadlines and making strategic decisions about when to push for settlement and when to press forward to trial.
Colleagues describe her as pragmatic and detail-oriented in day-to-day practice. She is comfortable in both negotiated settings and contested hearings. She also continues to perform pro bono and volunteer work in the Tulsa legal community, accepting matters that serve vulnerable clients and children when her calendar allows.
She operates out of Perdue Law PLLC. Her work combines courtroom representation and client counseling across a range of issues presented in Oklahoma state courts and in the federal district courts that serve the state. She maintains a private practice at Perdue Law PLLC, where she represents clients in state and federal courts in Oklahoma.
