Davy Karkason moved into the legal world after a steady build through two distinct schools. He earned an associate degree in political science from Boise State University and completed his J.D. at Nova Southeastern University in 2020. Those years set the foundation for a practice that has centered on contested matters spanning borders and jurisdictions.
After law school he began practicing in Florida. The footprint of his early career is compact but deliberate. In 2021 he joined Isriel Ponzoli, P.A. as an associate, taking on day-to-day responsibilities typical of early litigation lawyers and gaining hands-on experience in preparing cases for court and managing client communications. The role gave him a working familiarity with procedural demands and the pressures of active dockets.
In 2022 Karkason moved into international litigation roles. He worked at Lydecker LLP and at Cueto Law Group International Law Office during that year. Those positions involved disputes that crossed national boundaries and required attention to conflicting legal regimes, service issues, and jurisdictional challenges. He handled matters that brought together corporate clients, foreign parties, and the procedural complexity that comes with cross-border disputes.
The move to international work came quickly and was followed by a step into private practice leadership. In 2023 he founded Transnational Matters PLLC. The new firm reflects his decision to build a practice that addresses legal problems arising from cross-border commerce and multinational interactions. As a founding lawyer he oversees case strategy, client intake, and the coordination of matters that involve parties in different countries.
Karkason’s path shows a straightforward progression from law school through associate work to roles focused on international litigation, and then to founding his own practice. He is licensed to practice in Florida and has structured his firm to serve clients confronting legal issues that do not stop at national borders. He currently handles international litigation and transnational disputes in his practice.
