About David
David Gongora built his legal path from a pair of undergraduate degrees into a law practice rooted in transactional and dispute work. He studied at Florida International University for both stages of his education, completing dual B.A. degrees in finance and real estate in 2006 before earning a J.D. from Florida International University College of Law in 2011.
After law school, Gongora joined Blaxberg, Grayson & Kukoff, P.A. as a lawyer in 2011. He has worked at the firm since then. His early years at the firm involved the routine demands of a small-to-mid sized practice: drafting documents, counseling clients, and appearing in administrative and court settings when matters required it. Those hands-on tasks shaped the day-to-day side of his practice.
Gongora’s undergraduate background in finance and real estate informs the kinds of matters he handles. He regularly handles transactional work that requires an understanding of financing structures and property matters. On many files he shifts between contract negotiation and drafting, title and closing issues, and the kinds of lawyering that arise when commercial deals stall or disputes emerge.
Colleagues describe him as practical in approach. He favors clear contracts and careful file preparation. That practical bent also shows up in litigation and contested matters. He moves paperwork and pleadings forward, and he prepares clients for hearings and settlement talks when those options arise. He holds current membership in professional associations.
Gongora practices at Blaxberg Grayson & Kukoff, PA. He applies his finance and real estate training to a caseload made up largely of real estate transactions, financing matters, and related disputes, and he continues to handle both transactional work and litigation at the firm.
