About David E Wenger
David E Wenger III began his academic path at California University of Pennsylvania, where he studied from 1998 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2002. He went on to Widener University Delaware School of Law, attending from 2008 and receiving his Juris Doctor in 2011. Those years framed a move from a regional undergraduate program to professional legal training in Delaware County.
His early career led him into public service. In 2013 he joined the Mercer County office as an Assistant District Lawyer. In that role he gained courtroom experience and handled responsibilities common to public prosecutors, including case preparation, court appearances and collaboration with law enforcement professionals. The position provided steady exposure to trial practice and the procedural demands of criminal justice work at the county level.
After several years in the district lawyer’s office, he shifted to private practice. In 2019 he launched a solo practice under the name David E. Wenger IIII, Lawyer at Law. Establishing his own firm required moving from an institutional setting to the varied pace of solo practice. He took on the administrative duties of running a small office while continuing client representation and legal advocacy.
Across both public and private roles, Wenger’s experience has been shaped by courtroom work and hands-on case management. He has navigated charge evaluations, witness preparation and the filing of pleadings. Those tasks are consistent with the trajectory of lawyers who transition from a prosecutor’s office to independent practice, where courtroom familiarity and procedural knowledge remain important assets.
Today he practices in Pennsylvania as a solo practitioner. His office model centers on direct client contact and managing matters from initial intake through resolution. In his current practice he focuses on serving clients and handling legal matters in Pennsylvania state courts and administrative forums.
