About David

David Breon trained at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law and earned his J.D. in 2017. He built his legal foundation in law school, where he studied core subjects and sharpened practical skills that would guide the early years of his career. The law degree marked a clear turning point and set the course for multistate practice.

He is admitted to practice in Illinois, Kansas and Missouri. After law school he moved into private practice and has worked across matters that require coordination among different state systems. That multijurisdictional capability informs how he approaches cases and client needs. He handles filings, court appearances and advice across those three states, which requires attention to procedural differences as well as substantive law.

Breon maintains current memberships in professional associations and participates in continuing legal education to keep up with shifts in rules and precedent. He has spoken on routine practice topics within his circles and contributes to the law community through those memberships. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing filings and practical in advising on next steps.

His work spans courtroom representation and out-of-court problem solving. He prepares motions, drafts agreements, and appears on behalf of clients in hearings when needed. His practice emphasizes managing details and timelines so clients can make informed decisions. He tends to take cases that require careful coordination among counsel, opposing parties and courts in different states.

Breon practices from Semita Legalis, LLC, where he is part of a small firm environment that handles a range of legal matters. The firm setting allows him to work closely with clients and to be involved in both case strategy and day-to-day matters. He uses the firm’s platform to manage matters that cross state lines and to provide continuity for clients who have interests in more than one jurisdiction.

Outside of court and client work he keeps up with professional development and lawyering basics that affect daily practice. He lives and works in the central Midwest region and draws on that regional familiarity when advising clients. His current practice concentrates on legal matters conducted through Semita Legalis, LLC across Illinois, Kansas and Missouri.
