David Benjamin Graubert is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1978. His license is currently inactive. Mr. Graubert is based in West Hollywood, California, where he has been practicing law for over 40 years, serving clients throughout the Los Angeles area.
Mr. Graubert earned his Juris Doctor degree from Stanford Law School, where he graduated in 1978. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at Adelphi University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. During his time at Stanford, he was selected as a judicial extern by California Supreme Court Justice Ronald M. George, who later served as Chief Justice of the State’s highest Court.
Mr. Graubert's practice areas include entertainment and sports law, business law, and estate planning. He has represented clients in various matters, including contract negotiations, intellectual property issues, and corporate governance. His practice encompasses all stages of legal work, including litigation, negotiations, and transactional matters.
Throughout his career, Mr. Graubert has been admitted to practice before the courts of California. He has also been involved in pro bono work for arts-related organizations and individuals and volunteered at the Brennan Center for Justice in New York, a nonpartisan law and policy institute involved in voting rights and other democracy and justice issues. After his first year at Stanford, Graubert was selected as a judicial extern by California Supreme Court Justice Ronald M. George, who later served as one of the most distinguished Chief Justices of the State’s highest Court.
Mr. Graubert is a member of the State Bar of California. He has taught Constitutional Law, Business Law, and International Law. Prior to becoming an attorney, he taught in Los Angeles public secondary and adult schools for nine years, including classes in English and United States government.
