About Daryl A.

Daryl A. Yount built a professional life that crosses two worlds: business and the law. He entered the working world after college and returned to school in his thirties to earn a law degree. The result is a mix of practical commercial experience and courtroom training.

He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Messiah University in 2001. Years later he completed a J.D. at Widener University Commonwealth Law School in 2017. The academic arc reflects a deliberate change in career direction and a second professional chapter that began immediately after law school.

Before law, he ran businesses. In 2001 he became owner of Jayco Inc. and led that company through its early years. In 2008 he established Winfield Storage Rentals, LLC and managed operations there as well. Those roles acquainted him with commercial concerns, client relations, and the day-to-day demands of small business ownership.

After earning his J.D., Yount joined McNerney, Page, Vanderlin & Hall as an associate in 2017. He spent the next years building litigation and client service skills within a firm setting. In 2020 he launched Yount Law Office and has practiced under that name since. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Colleagues and clients describe him as practical and steady. His business background informs how he evaluates disputes and advises clients. He tends to approach matters with an eye toward how legal outcomes affect operations, finances, and long-term plans. That perspective shapes the advice he gives when representing individuals or business clients.

Within the local bar community he holds membership in the Lycoming Law Association. Participation in that group keeps him connected to peers in the county and to developments in Pennsylvania law. He also stays engaged in routine court practice at both the state and federal levels where he is authorized to appear.

Yount’s practice path shows a willingness to shift careers and to build a law practice on the foundation of prior commercial work. He manages his practice from Yount Law Office, where he handles matters in Pennsylvania and in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
