About Darrell L.

Darrell L. Douglas began his academic journey at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2010. He went on to study law at Mississippi College School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor in 2014. Those years shaped his approach to litigation and gave him the foundation for a career in state courts.

After law school, Douglas entered practice in Tennessee. He joined Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz Personal Injury Lawyers as a lawyer. There he learned the routines of trial preparation and client intake. He has worked on cases that moved through negotiation and, when necessary, to courtroom hearings.

Douglas is a member of the American Association for Justice. He also belongs to the Campbell County Bar Association. Those affiliations have kept him connected to peers and to continuing legal education opportunities that are common in personal injury practice.

Colleagues describe him as steady in the courtroom and practical in case assessment. He focuses on the facts of each matter and on the likely outcomes those facts support. His work involves drafting pleadings, evaluating medical records, and consulting with experts when questions about causation or injury severity arise. He practices in Tennessee state courts where most of his matters are filed.

Clients work with him on a range of personal injury claims. They include automobile collisions and other injury events that produce physical and financial consequences. He handles case investigation and discovery, pursues settlement efforts, and prepares cases for trial when settlement is not achievable. The day-to-day work is often procedural and document-intensive, and he attends to those tasks alongside client communications.

Outside the office, Douglas has remained tied to the legal community through professional memberships. He takes part in seminars offered through those organizations and keeps current on changes in Tennessee rules and case law that affect personal injury practice.

He is based at Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz Personal Injury Lawyers in Tennessee. He represents clients in personal injury matters at Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz.
