About Danielle N.
Danielle N. Barbato is a Florida attorney whose work has centered on criminal trial practice. She has moved between public defense and private practice and built a practice grounded in courtroom experience and state-level certification.
Barbato completed a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology at the University of Florida, earning her degree in 2007. She went on to study comparative law at Gonzaga University School of Law in 2008 and received her Juris Doctor from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2010. Those years shaped her early legal perspective and prepared her for trial work.
Her professional career began in the public defender's office. In 2011 she joined the Office of the Public Defender for Florida’s 9th Judicial Circuit as a lawyer. In that role she handled a range of criminal matters and gained regular courtroom exposure. The work required managing cases from arraignment through trial, dealing with discovery and hearing practice, and addressing the often fast-paced rhythm of criminal dockets.
Barbato holds Board Certification in Criminal Trial Law from the Florida Certification Board. That credential marks a formal recognition of trial practice in criminal matters in the state and reflects time spent in jury trials and contested hearings. Colleagues and opposing counsel have encountered her in jury selection and evidentiary proceedings, where she has applied courtroom procedures and trial advocacy routinely.
In 2021 she joined Bogin, Munns & Munns as Of Counsel. That role placed her in a firm setting while preserving the trial-oriented work that has defined much of her career. At Bogin, Munns & Munns she balances case preparation, client consultations and courtroom appearances. Her cases often involve contested matters that proceed to trial.
Barbato maintains active ties to the Florida legal community and continues to practice in the state. She combines the procedural demands of criminal litigation with experience from years spent in public defense and private firm practice. Her current practice concentrates on criminal defense and trial work at Bogin, Munns & Munns.
