About Danielle L.
Danielle L. LaBelle graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law after completing a bachelor’s degree in history and political science at Washington State University’s Spokane campus. Her legal training combined classroom study with practical exposure to courtroom procedures and municipal practice. The law school years set a foundation for a career in dispute resolution and client advocacy.
Early in her career she took internships that exposed her to public-sector work. In 2011 she was a legal clerk extern at Spokane Municipal Court and an intern with the City of Spokane Prosecutor’s Office. Those positions offered front-line experience with hearings, local rules and the rhythms of courtroom calendars. They also gave her an early view of how legal strategy and client communication intersect in high-stakes matters.
She moved into private practice soon after. In 2012 she served as an associate lawyer at the Law Offices of Clayton R. Dickinson. Two years later she joined McKinley Irvin as an associate. By 2019 she was an associate at Lasher, Holzapfel, Sperry & Ebberson. Across those roles she handled cases that required both negotiation and litigation, representing clients through settlement talks and contested hearings.
LaBelle is a member of the Washington State Bar Association’s Family Law Section. She participates in the bar section’s activities and keeps current with developments in state family law. That membership aligns with the kinds of matters she has taken on in private practice and informs how she advises clients about changing legal standards and procedural requirements.
Her approach to client work is pragmatic. She prepares for court, but she also maps out options aimed at resolving disputes outside the courtroom when that serves a client’s interests. She counsels on the practical implications of legal choices and tries to clarify complex issues so clients can make informed decisions. Her background in municipal and prosecutorial settings informs how she assesses risk and structures case strategy.
LaBelle’s trajectory — from legal clerkships to successive associate roles at Spokane-area firms — reflects sustained work in family law matters. She is currently an associate at Lasher, Holzapfel, Sperry & Ebberson, handling family law cases including divorce, custody and child support matters.
