About Danielle Jurema
Danielle Jurema Lederman combined a scientific undergraduate education with legal training before entering private practice. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Florida and went on to receive her juris doctor from Northeastern University School of Law. Those two degrees shape how she approaches problems: methodical, detail-oriented, and attentive to technical facts.
After law school, Lederman joined Morgan, Brown & Joy LLP as an associate. At the firm she works alongside litigators and transactional attorneys on matters that require careful analysis and courtroom readiness. Colleagues describe her as steady under pressure and thorough in her preparation. She has handled research, drafting, and client communications while contributing to trial preparation and motion practice.
Her chemistry background has proven useful in cases that touch on technical subject matter. It gives her a vocabulary for scientific issues and helps her interrogate expert opinions. She is comfortable reviewing technical reports and translating complex material into clear legal arguments. That combination of science and law is not an uncommon path, but it does shape which assignments she is asked to carry out at the firm.
Lederman’s legal education at Northeastern exposed her to both doctrinal coursework and practical clinics. The law school’s emphasis on experiential learning offered opportunities to run client interviews, draft pleadings, and argue in simulated settings. Those experiences remain part of her professional toolkit and inform how she mentors more junior staff and coordinates with outside consultants.
In the office, she splits time between legal research, client conferences, and drafting moots and briefs. She handles discovery tasks and assists in the development of trial exhibits. Her role as an associate involves both independent work and collaboration with senior attorneys on strategy and presentation.
Outside the immediate demands of casework, Lederman keeps abreast of developments in Massachusetts law and attends continuing legal education programs. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and remains based at Morgan, Brown & Joy, LLP. Her current practice centers on matters handled at Morgan, Brown & Joy, LLP.
