About Daniel S.
Daniel S. Gvertz earned his J.D. from SUNY Buffalo Law School in 2009. He completed his legal education in the Buffalo area and went on to build a practice rooted in New York state law. The SUNY Buffalo degree is the anchor of his legal training and the start of a career spent practicing in the region where he trained.
After law school, Gvertz moved into private practice. Records show he was a lawyer at Cordell & Cordell in 2019. That role gave him experience in a firm environment and exposure to casework in New York. In 2022 he joined Tiveron Law PLLC as a lawyer and has been associated with that firm since. He works out of the firm’s Buffalo and Ellicottville offices, maintaining a local presence across western New York.
Over the course of his career he has handled matters that arise in New York courts and administrative settings. His work has required both client counseling and courtroom appearances. He is licensed in New York and maintains a current professional membership in a legal association. Those affiliations support his practice and provide a network of peers for consultation and continuing education.
Gvertz’s day-to-day practice reflects the needs of clients in the communities where he works. He spends time preparing filings, meeting with clients, negotiating resolutions and appearing before judges when necessary. Colleagues describe him as steady and methodical in how he approaches tasks. Clients encounter straightforward explanations of legal options and practical next steps.
He has divided his practice between the firm’s offices to remain accessible to clients across the region. Working from both Buffalo and Ellicottville allows him to attend hearings, mediate disputes and manage cases without long travel for those he represents. The office settings are small enough for direct attorney contact and large enough to support a range of case types.
Gvertz continues to practice law in New York and is an active member of the profession. He is admitted to practice in New York and handles matters that arise under state law. He currently practices at Tiveron Law PLLC, where he concentrates on representing clients in matters before New York state courts.
