About Daniel R.
Daniel R. Seidman began his academic path in St. Louis, where he completed a dual undergraduate program in marketing and psychology at Washington University in 2008. He went on to earn his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2011. Those years combined business and behavioral study with formal legal training and helped shape a practice oriented toward courtroom work and contested matters.
After law school, Seidman entered private practice and has built a career in litigation. He is a lawyer at Seidman, Margulis & Fairman, LLP. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and Missouri and holds admissions to several federal forums, including the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of Illinois, the Eastern District of Missouri, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. He appears regularly in trial courts and federal dockets listed among his credentials.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing cases. He has handled matters that require courtroom presence and the procedural navigation of multiple jurisdictions. His work has taken him into state and federal trial courts in both Illinois and Missouri. He manages pretrial motion practice, discovery disputes and trial preparation for the matters he handles.
Seidman maintains memberships in professional organizations that reflect an active litigation practice. He is a current member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Association of Trial Lawyers and the Missouri Association of Trial Lawyers. Those affiliations provide access to continuing legal education and local trial-law communities.
At Seidman, Margulis & Fairman, LLP, he practices alongside attorneys who handle a range of civil litigation matters. The firm environment supports multi-jurisdictional practice and frequent courtroom advocacy. His daily docket may include case management, deposition work and motions practice in both state and federal venues.
He draws on a background that blends marketing and psychology with three years of post-graduate legal study. That mix informs how he prepares witnesses and presents argument. He currently practices litigation in state and federal courts.
