About Daniel R.

Daniel R. Duello earned a B.A. in Political Science from Emory University in 2004 and a J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law in 2007. He moved from classroom to courthouse quickly, finishing law school and stepping into practice the same year. The early academic record shows a conventional path: liberal arts undergraduate work followed by three years of professional legal training.

He began his legal career as an associate at Garrett, Gilliard & Saul in 2007. That role was his introduction to firm practice and courtroom procedure. Two years later he joined Cole, Scott & Kissane as a partner, taking on greater responsibility and a leadership role within that firm. Those consecutive positions provided experience in both associate-level casework and partner-level practice management.

Duello holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, a peer-review mark that appears on many attorney profiles. He is licensed to practice in Florida and in Georgia, and he is admitted to appear before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He has handled filings and appearances in both state and federal courts, and the Eleventh Circuit admission allows him to remain involved in appellate proceedings when cases proceed beyond trial court.

Following his time in larger firms, Duello established the Law Office of Daniel R. Duello. He now operates that office as the principal attorney. The move to a solo practice narrowed the administrative structure and placed him in direct contact with clients on every matter the office handles. Running a small practice has required him to manage case intake, client counseling, and courtroom work personally.

Colleagues and clients have noted his steady presence in court calendars across Georgia and Florida. He frequently appears in hearings and manages filings in both state and federal venues. That practical courtroom experience is a throughline from his earliest associate days to his current solo work.

He maintains professional standing in the two state bars and in the federal appellate roll. He continues to accept matters through the Law Office of Daniel R. Duello and represents individuals and businesses in matters before the state and federal courts of Georgia and Florida.
