About Daniel
Daniel Palmer earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Political Science from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2010. His undergraduate studies in government provided an early grounding in public institutions and policy, which he carried into legal studies and classroom work at St. Mary’s.
After law school, Palmer began practicing in Texas. He is admitted to the bar in that state and has built a practice centered on serving clients from a single-office setting. He has practiced from Marquardt Law Office, where he handles matters that arise in state courts and before administrative bodies. Palmer’s background — a mix of political science and legal training — informs how he assesses statutory language and procedural requirements on behalf of clients.
Palmer’s day-to-day work involves client counseling, preparation and review of legal documents, and courtroom appearances when cases require it. He approaches cases by breaking complex issues into discrete tasks and by prioritizing clear communication. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing files and attentive to procedural deadlines. He has advised individuals and small businesses on a range of legal questions that turn on statutory interpretation, regulatory compliance, and basic transactional concerns.
Outside the office, Palmer’s earlier studies at UT-Austin remain a touchstone for how he reads public records and legislative history. He keeps current on developments in Texas law that affect his practice and applies changes in procedure to ongoing matters. He currently practices at Marquardt Law Office, handling a broad range of matters in Texas state courts and related administrative proceedings.
