About Daniel P.

Daniel P. Connors earned both his juris doctor and his bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed a standard law school curriculum and took on hands-on roles while still a student. Those early experiences shaped the way he approaches litigation and client work.

As a law student he worked in the Civil Legal Advice and Resource Office (CLARO) in 2012. That position put him on the front lines of client intake, legal research and the practical mechanics of civil practice. In the same year he held a role at the United States Lawyer’s Office, gaining exposure to federal practice and courtroom procedure. He also served as a law clerk in the Erie County District Lawyer’s Office in 2013, where he saw municipal and county-level work up close.

In 2013 Connors served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael A. Telesca in the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. That clerkship placed him inside the federal trial court, offering direct experience with motions practice, opinions and the day-to-day function of a district court. Working for a federal judge is a demanding position that requires careful drafting and attention to procedural detail. It also offers rare insight into judicial decision-making.

After his clerkship he continued on a path that spans several jurisdictions. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland and New York. Those multiple admissions reflect a practice capable of handling matters that cross state and federal lines. Over the years his work has included legal research, motion practice and case preparation tied to both trial-level and administrative matters.

Today Connors maintains an active practice across his admitted jurisdictions. He draws on his courtroom experience and his time in public offices to advise clients and handle disputes in federal and state forums. He practices in the District of Columbia, Maryland and New York.
