About Amy

Amy Abrams-Myers earned her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1989. That degree established the foundation for a legal career that spans multiple courts and professional organizations. She is admitted to practice in Maryland and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.

Her work has been associated with The Schupak Law Office. Public records show that she is part of that firm’s professional roster. Over the years she has maintained professional ties to regional trial groups and state-level associations that support courtroom practice.

Abrams-Myers holds professional designations from The Institutes, including the AIC (Associate in Claims) and AIS (Associate in Services) credentials. Those certificates reflect training in insurance claims and related services. She also serves as a Notary Public in Maryland, a role that complements transactional and litigation paperwork handled in daily practice.

She is a current member of the Maryland Association for Justice and belongs to the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington, D.C. Those memberships place her among colleagues who handle civil litigation and trial work across state and federal venues. She has kept active involvement in these groups while practicing in the region.

On the federal side, Abrams-Myers has the admissions that permit appearances in cases before the Fourth Circuit and the federal district court in Maryland. Those permissions expand the settings in which she can represent clients and appear at hearings. In state courts she operates under the Maryland bar admission that allows her to take cases in state trial courts.

Colleagues and records note her association with The Schupak Law Office as the primary setting for her practice. There, she addresses matters that arise in both state and federal systems. Her insurance-related designations and notary commission are applied to the procedural and evidentiary work that accompanies litigation and claims handling.

She currently practices at The Schupak Law Office and handles matters in Maryland and in federal courts where she is admitted, applying her insurance and claims credentials to the work she does there.
