About Daniel
Daniel Maxwell established his path into law through a focused course of study at Creighton University School of Law. He entered the program in 2012 and earned his J.D. in 2015. Those years framed his early approach to practice and gave him regular exposure to courtroom procedure and legal research.
While still in law school he spent time inside a working courthouse. In 2013 he served as a legal intern for the Utah Second District Court, an experience that introduced him to the mechanics of hearings, motion practice and the daily rhythms of trial calendars. That practical exposure came before he stepped into private practice.
After receiving his degree, Maxwell joined Amicus Law Office as an associate lawyer in 2015. He has remained connected to the Utah legal community since then. He maintains membership in the Utah Association for Justice, a professional organization he joined in 2015 and continues to participate in. He also holds the FINRA Series 65 license, a credential that speaks to training in investment advisory and financial regulatory matters.
Those threads — courtroom experience, private practice and a securities-related license — shape how Maxwell approaches cases. Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in court and attentive to the factual details that matter in litigation. His time at the district court gave him a foundation in procedure. His work at Amicus Law Office has involved managing files, preparing pleadings and responding to discovery. The Series 65 adds an analytical dimension when cases touch on financial issues.
Maxwell's practice is rooted in Utah law and in handling matters that require steady procedural work and an eye for financial elements. He has built a practice that relies on careful case preparation and direct client communication. He continues to work out of Amicus Law Office in Utah and remains active in the local legal community.
He currently practices at Amicus Law Office in Utah, concentrating on litigation and matters that intersect with financial regulatory issues.
