About Daniel L.
Daniel L. Lambert entered law after completing a business degree in Madison and a law degree in San Diego. He earned a B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2001 and a J.D. from the University of San Diego in 2004. The combination of business and legal training shaped the practical side of his approach to disputes and claims.
After law school Lambert built a practice that crosses state lines. He is licensed in both Wisconsin and California and has maintained memberships in the State Bar of California and several Wisconsin bar groups. Those connections reflect a career practiced under two distinct systems of rules and procedures.
Lambert's professional affiliations include the Milwaukee County Bar Association, the Walworth County Bar Association and the Wisconsin Association of Worker’s Compensation Lawyers. He has remained an active participant in local bar activities, attending meetings and contributing to discussions on litigation practice and administrative procedures. The list of memberships suggests sustained engagement in the communities where he works.
For much of his career Lambert has worked at Karp & Iancu, S.C. There he has handled matters that frequently involve workplace injuries and administrative hearings. His business background informs how he approaches case preparation and client counseling. He prepares pleadings, argues before administrative law judges and negotiates settlements. His work requires attention to medical records, return-to-work issues and the interplay between insurance and employer obligations.
Clients and colleagues describe Lambert as straightforward in his communications. He tends to explain options plainly, outline potential outcomes and set realistic timelines for hearings and appeals. In hearings he presents medical and vocational evidence and challenges opposing experts when necessary. Outside the hearing room he handles filings, discovery and case management tasks that keep files trial-ready.
Lambert’s practice has a regional footprint. He has appeared in Milwaukee-area venues and in forums across Walworth County, and his California admission allows him to address matters that touch that state. He keeps current on changes in worker’s compensation law and administrative rules through association meetings and continuing legal education.
He continues to practice at Karp & Iancu, S.C., representing clients in workers’ compensation matters and related administrative proceedings in Wisconsin and California.
