About Daniel J.
Daniel J. Broderick studied political science at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and finished his undergraduate degree in 2006. He went on to earn his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in 2011. Those years set the foundation for a career that has remained rooted in Illinois courts.
After law school he entered practice in Illinois. He is admitted to practice in the state and has built his career there. Over time he joined Levin & Perconti and took on increasing responsibility in complex litigation. Today he is a partner at the firm, carrying managerial duties alongside his caseload.
At Levin & Perconti he works on litigation that reaches into courtrooms. His role as partner involves drafting pleadings, preparing for trials, and working with clients through each stage of a case. Colleagues describe him as a practitioner who handles the routine work of litigation and the unpredictable demands that come with contested matters.
Professional affiliations form a steady part of his practice. He holds memberships in the American Association for Justice, the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. Those memberships offer a steady flow of continuing education, peer contact, and industry developments that inform his day-to-day work.
Outside of courtroom duties he participates in firm strategy and client counseling. He balances case preparation with the administrative and mentoring tasks that come with partnership. His background in political science and law school training continue to shape his approach to legal problem solving and advocacy.
Broderick remains based in Illinois and practices under the Levin & Perconti banner. He focuses his current practice on civil litigation in Illinois.
