About Daniel Denzer

Daniel Denzer Munster built a legal career around the needs of older adults and people with disabilities. He studied history and then law, earning a B.A. from Vanderbilt University in 1986 and a J.D. from University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 1990. Those academic years set the groundwork for a practice that pairs technical estate planning with the practical realities families face.

He began practicing in the early 1990s and spent time at Atlanta Legal Aid Society as a staff lawyer in 1994. That period exposed him to clients who could not afford private counsel and to the kinds of systemic problems that affect vulnerable populations. It also shaped the way he approaches cases: part legal analysis, part problem solving, part calm counsel in difficult moments.

In 1999 he established The Eldercare & Special Needs Law Practice of Daniel D. Munster. He has since handled matters that commonly arise for seniors and for families caring for relatives with disabilities. His work includes drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney; advising on Medicaid and long-term care planning; and helping families pursue public benefits when private resources are limited.

Munster is licensed to practice in Georgia. Over the years he joined professional groups that mirror his practice interests. He has been a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys since 1999 and of the Atlanta Bar Association since 1999. He also belongs to the Atlanta Estate Planning Council, joining in 2009, and to the Cobb County Bar Association, where he has been listed since 2010. Those memberships have kept him connected to colleagues and to developments in estate, elder, and public benefits law.

Clients who work with him typically face complex, overlapping issues: health care decisions, long-term care costs, guardianship questions, and the interplay of private planning with government programs. He counsels families on how to structure documents so that they work now and can be adapted as circumstances change. He also assists in planning that preserves access to benefits while providing for quality of life.

Munster’s practice is rooted in steady, case-by-case work rather than headline matters. He continues to operate The Eldercare & Special Needs Law Practice of Daniel D. Munster, handling estate planning, elder law, special needs planning, and related public benefits issues in Georgia. Current practice focuses on elder law, special needs planning, and estate matters in Georgia.
