About Daniel
Daniel Chudleigh built a legal career that spans two states and several roles inside the courthouse. He moved from a communications undergraduate degree into graduate business study, and then into law school. The path shows an interest in both the practical and procedural sides of practice.
He earned a B.S. in Communications from the University of Utah, completing that degree in 2007. He later attended Chapman University, where he completed both an M.B.A. and a J.D., with both degrees conferred in 2011. The mix of business and law schooling informs how he approaches cases and client counseling.
Early in his legal training he served as a law clerk to the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah in 2012. That year in chambers introduced him to federal procedure and to the pace of complex docket work. He spent the following year as an associate at Smith LC, where he handled matters that furthered his litigation experience and courtroom familiarity.
In 2014 he founded Chudleigh Law P.C. The firm reflects his decision to concentrate on civil litigation and to handle matters that require sustained advocacy. He maintains active membership in bar and trial organizations, including the Orange County Bar Association since 2011 and the J. Reuben Clark Law Society since 2007. He also joined the American Institute of Personal Injury Lawyers in 2016 and The National Trial Lawyers in 2017, memberships that align with the kinds of cases his practice typically brings.
Chudleigh is admitted to practice in Utah and California. He combines courtroom knowledge gained during his clerkship with litigation work from his years as an associate and firm founder. Clients encounter a practitioner who has experience in both state and federal systems and who assigns importance to procedural preparedness.
Colleagues and peers encounter him in professional settings and legal associations where he has maintained ties for years. The firm he started in 2014 has continued to operate through the next decade, handling matters across jurisdictions where he holds licensure. He currently practices through Chudleigh Law P.C., representing clients in personal injury and related civil litigation in Utah and California.
